Closed System
- Therapist requires a license in Florida.
- Therapist explains the system/procedure and does rectal insertion.
- Therapist explains holistic approach relationship with self, diet, work and home.
- Abdominal massage is performed and the digestive system is explained.
- Peristalsis stimulation (like taking your colon to the gym!).
- Hot and cold treatments to tone the colon are explained.
- Therapist can identify dehydration, un-chewed food and give an explanation.
- Treatment can be interrupted at any time for client’s comfort.
- Duration is usually up to 45 minutes and the therapist is with you all the time.
- There is no odor and noise during the process.
- During the whole process, the therapist is educating the client on dietary and lifestyle factors, the correlation between the digestive system and the nervous system and improving general wellbeing.

Open System
- Therapist explains the system and advises how to do your own insertion.
- Therapist advising you does not require a license in Australia, in Florida a license is required.
- Machine is set to 45 minutes, after you have done your own insertion.
- Various instructions may be offered. i.e. to hold for count of 20 and release, of just hold and let go.
- Therapist may leave you to continue alone.
- If you are cramping or feeling uncomfortable, you can call the therapist.
- When you release down a chute, there can be noise and odor.
- You have no idea what you are releasing, as this is your first experience.
